SPECIAL ELECTION VOLUNTEER LEADERS
Our candidates are looking for individuals willing to take a leadership role in their campaign. We are trying to fill the following positions. Note: some positions have been filled by one campaign but are still be sought by the other.
Statewide Call Leader
- Recruit volunteers who will make calls including from home, other remote location or as a part of onsite group calling.
- Be point of contact for any volunteers who indicate interest in remote calling
- Receive call lists from Data Coordinator and organize distribution to individual callers
- Arrange for collection of call results data so that additional contact strategies can be implemented.
County Call Leader
- In coordination with the Statewide Call Leader, manage all calling by volunteers in your county, both individual and group.
Lit Drop / Door Knock Leader
- Organize group days for Lit Drops / Door Knocks
- Recruit volunteers to Lit Drop / Door Knock
- Be point of contact for any volunteers who indicate interest in Lit Drop / Door Knock.
- Receive Lit Drop / Door Knock lists from Data Coordinator and organize distribution to indivdual volunteers
- Arrange for collection of Lit Drop / Door Knock results so that additional contact strategies can be implemented
Data Collection Leader
- Ensure results of all marketing channels are collected and input to the database so that additional voter contact strategies can be most effectively pursued.
Communications Leader, External
- First point of contact for any inquiries from voters or from the media
- Decide which inquiries require a decision from the candidate and which can be managed without the candidate's input.
Communications Leader, Internal
- Produce regular (daily?) communication to the volunteer base with the intent of maintaining enthusiasm throughout the campaign.
Special Interest Group Volunteer Leader
- First point of contact for special interest groups who can be a source of volunteers.
- Identify and recruit additional special interest groups.
Absentee Vote Leader
- Develop strategies to maximize the absentee vote
Early Vote Leader
- Develop strategies to maximize the early vote
