US Senate Candidate Forum in Newark - Aug 21st

DOVER, DE – Kevin Wade, Delaware’s GOP nominee for the United States Senate, will be joining a senatorial candidate’s forum on Tuesday, August 21st at the Newark (DE) Senior Center. The debate will begin at 6pm at 200 White Chapel Drive, Newark.

“The First State’s citizens have an absolute, fundamental right to personally meet and hear from anyone who wishes to represent them in the U.S. Senate,” Wade said. “I am honored and eager to debate the issues facing our state, our nation and our futures at any time and anywhere the citizens of Delaware gather,” he said.

Wade has publicly called for incumbent Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE) to join him in “20 to 30 debates across the state,” but the Wade campaign has so far heard nothing from Sen. Carper. It is not known if Sen. Carper plans to attend the Newark Senior Center debate, but he has been invited. Alex Pires (I-DE) plans to attend and it is believed the Green Party candidate may attend as well.

Kevin Wade is the founder and president of Philadelphia Control Systems, Inc., a Christiana, DE automation engineering firm. The Delaware Republican Party nominated Wade to run for the U.S. Senate against incumbent Tom Carper (D-DE) at the Party's convention in April.
